From 4th October:
Testing requirements will also be reduced for eligible fully vaccinated travellers, who will no longer need to take a PDT when travelling to England from Monday 4 October 4am.
From the end of October, eligible fully vaccinated passengers and those with an approved vaccine from a select group of non-red countries will be able to replace their day 2 test with a cheaper lateral flow test, reducing the cost of tests on arrival into England. The government wants to introduce this by the end of October, aiming to have it in place for when people return from half-term breaks.

The cheapest I found on the government approved list that are posted to you and you return by post were £55.
You could get cheaper ones but you had to walk in for those.

w4 - I've paid as low as £20, but that was an NHS staff offer. Can easily be done for £28 with some hunting - have a look on MoneySavingExpert, they've got a list of the cheapest on there I think.

I might be tempted to hire a car at the Eurostar station or Airport. For those that are arriving on the Eurostar and consider this option there are car hire firms in the station but it is also possible to take the train to the Airport and pick up a car there. That is a much easier drive to Hasselt/Genk than driving through Brussels.

Re Hasselt to Genk. Trains are easy but its a 6k walk to the stadium from the station and don't expect taxis to be waiting at Genk station. Hasselt taxis are more readily available but not by UK standards so don't leave it to late to travel or book.
